Red Orcheastra 2 looks awesome and has some great and unique ideas. Sadly though, you’ll have to wait a bit longer as Tripwire Interactive announced today that the release date for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is shifting back two weeks to September 13, 2011. PC gamers, here is the Top 10 UK PC Chart of last week. There is really nothing extraordinary, apart from the return of both Fable III and Civilization V. Both Starcraft 2 and Shogun 2 on the other hand lost some places and didn’t make it in this week’s Top10. The first five games are the same as last week’s and seems that nothing will be able to top The Sims series. Well, at least when it comes to retail sales. Enjoy the chart after the jump. We already know that the gaming industry is basically just a business these days and nothing more. We also know that publishers often interfere with their games’ development and most of the times, this is not a good sign. So after Arthur Bruno’s interview with RockPaperShotgun, a fan went ahead and complained at Crate’s forum. This is natural, everyone does it. What surprised us though was a post from Crate’s designer, Medierra, in which he claimed that Titan Quest was designed so that the grandmother of the higher-ups – and basically all of our grandmothers – would want to play it. Pitty. Team Psykskallar were the creators behind those fascinating mods and they are currently hard at work with their latest TC – total modification – for Valve’s legendary FPS. I know, there have been a lot of live action films today and you’re most probably already bored. But hear me out, this is perhaps the most ‘true to the spirit of the game’ live action movie. As the title suggests, it’s based on L.A. Noire and has everything, from the facial expressions to the rotating system for the clues. Even the running/walking animations are similar. The movie is written and directed by Ryan Mitts, edited by Cliff Lloret and was made available today. Well done guys! Continue reading L.A. Noire Live Action – Justice Unfiltered→
Okay, I’m speechless. Shi Yao designed an Italian Lonely Town, that is rendered with VRay 2 and 3ds MAX 2011 and is inspired by Assasins Creed Brotherhood. And let me tell you, it looks breathtaking. If Epic’s Samaritan tech demo is anything to go by, then we can easily say that this is how Ubisoft’s action adventure will look like on next generation consoles and PCs. Enjoy the screenshot after the jump. Continue reading This is how Assassin’s Creed will most likely look like in next generation platforms→
