Deep Silver announced yesterday at Risen 2’s forum that this much anticipated RPG will actually use Steamworks as its protection system. Deep Silver decided to choose Valve’s DRM was because Steam offers an automated update system which allows all customers to play the latest version of Risen 2 since all patches will be delivered automatically to their PC. EA released today via Steam a massive new update for their acclaimed casual game, The Sims 3. This update bring a lot of improvements, fixes and additions to Generations and as with all games that are available on Valve’s distribution service, it will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. The company has just revealed that the PC version of From Dust will be delayed and its street date has been shifted to August 17th. As promised, here is the ninth episode of the great Mortal Kombat mini web-series. In this episode, Cyrax and Sektor are chosen to be the future of the Lin Kuei by the Grand Master, but Cyrax is less than enthusiastic about giving his life over to a cybernetic transformation that will erase his memories and turn him into the ultimate fighting machine. We’ve been waiting patiently to get our hands on Battlefield 3, but look here what we’ve found. During a chat with EA’s representative, a fan asked whether there would be a sequel to Battlefield 2142. To our surprise, the representative responded and admitted that EA has already plans for it and that it might get released next year, though he didn’t share any more details about it. Now we don’t want that person to lose his job, so we tried to hide his name. Now we all know EA’s tech support, so take it with a grain of salt. Chantelise: A Tale Of Two Sisters is a dungeon crawler RPG that is slated for release next week. This is an indie title that was originally released in Japan and Carpe Fulgur decided to go ahead and translate it for the Western crowd.
