Phoenix team announced today that their first 3D arcade game called TEC 3001 will hit XBLA this August. In this game, players will take the role of a robot who was sent into virtual reality. According to the developers, the title is in final stage and is currently being tested. Your goal is to collect leftovers of the energy for human kind in a very harsh environment and to complete the levels you will need keen eye, quick reflexes and most of all persistence. It seems that we’ll be seeing both Football Manager 2011 and The Sims 3: Generations dominating the UK PC Charts for a long, long time. EA’s social game has managed to reclaim its throne this week and WoW: Cataclysm gained five places, while Portal 2 lost them. Fable 3 keeps climbing as it’s now on the seventh place. As we’ve informed you earlier this month, the astounding Sikkmod 1.1 for Doom3 has been released and here are some breathtaking screenshots from it. As you can see, Doom3 is looking great and can even compete with modern-day games. Now imagine if someone could make a full Texture Pack and if Tessellation could be supported via OpenGL to add more details and better geometry to these levels and characters. As the title suggest, this video is a parody of Mortal Kombat’s finishing moves and it’s simply great.
