TEKKEN 7 – PC Performance Analysis

Bandai Namco has just released TEKKEN 7 on the PC and to be honest, most of us were a bit cautious about the PC version. Despite the fact that Bandai Namco had already showcased the PC version during some event and even though it is powered by Unreal Engine 4, this is the first TEKKEN game on our platform. Thankfully, there is literally nothing to worry about as TEKKEN 7 performs wonderfully on the PC. Continue reading TEKKEN 7 – PC Performance Analysis

Vanquish – PC Performance Analysis

Vanquish is a game that was released on old-gen consoles in 2010. Due to major performance issues on those consoles, however, a lot of gamers wanted to play this game on the PC. Come to think of it, Vanquish was one of most requested games to be ported from old-gen consoles to the PC. Still, and despite that huge demand, SEGA was not moved at all… until recently. So, fast forward seven years and here we are today with Vanquish finally being released on the PC. Continue reading Vanquish – PC Performance Analysis

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 – PC Performance Analysis

When CI Games announced that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 would be powered by Crytek’s CRYENGINE, we were excited. You see, we consider CRYENGINE to be one of the best engines out there. However, CI Games was unable to properly take advantage of it. The game was plagued by a number of performance issues at its time of release and as such, we decided to postpone our PC Performance Analysis. PREY – PC Performance Analysis

PREY was one of the most anticipated games of 2017. However, and given Arkane’s history, we were a bit worried about the state of its PC version. Arkane did not release any PC demo, its previous title – Dishonored 2 – had (and still has) major performance issues, and the latest CRYENGINE-powered game – Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 – suffered from performance issues. Add to this that Bethesda declined sending us a review code (actually Bethesda did send us, however it passed under our radar) and you’ve got yourself a game that, on paper, seems to be doomed. However, we can safely say that PREY runs extremely well on the PC platform. Continue reading PREY – PC Performance Analysis

Outlast 2 – PC Performance Analysis

Outlast 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed survival horror game Outlast that is set in the same universe as the first game, but with different characters and a different setting. This is a game that a lot of horror fans have been waiting for and, to be honest, we were really surprised by its relatively low official PC requirements. The game has just been released on the PC, so it’s time to see how it runs on the PC platform. Continue reading Outlast 2 – PC Performance Analysis

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III – PC Performance Analysis

When the closed beta phase for Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III began, we were a bit worried about the game’s performance. You see, that build ran extremely awful on our test machine. Yes, this was a beta build but let’s be honest; the final builds of most games, these days, run exactly the same with their beta builds. Thankfully, Dawn of War III is an exception as it received some significant performance improvements. Continue reading Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III – PC Performance Analysis

Mass Effect: Andromeda – PC Performance Analysis

Mass Effect: Andromeda was perhaps the most anticipated game of this year’s first quarter. And… well… by now we all know that the game suffers from some really hilarious animations and mediocre lip-syncing. We also know that the game has been slightly downgraded from its E3 2016 build. So, time now to see how this new title performs on the PC platform. Continue reading Mass Effect: Andromeda – PC Performance Analysis
