Remember that helmet cam from Shift 2: Unleashed? Looked great, right? Well, get ready because Slightly Mad Studios are implementing this camera viewpoint to their upcoming racer, Project CARS. Not only that, but the viewpoint is way better than the one that was featured in Shift 2: Unleashed. YouTube’s member ‘Disloid’ uploaded a small clip from the latest build of Project CARS to showcase this camera mode and as you can see, it looks sexy. Sony Online Entertainment has released today some brand new screenshots for their upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS, Planetside 2. PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game – massive multiplayer battles, distinctive empires to rally around, and enormous continents to support intense ground and air combat – and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. City Interactive released today a new set of screenshots for their upcoming CryEngine 3 powered sniper gamer, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. These new images showcase some of the environments, as well as the dismemberment system that will be featured. It looks great, which was a given as CryEngine 3 is a really powerful engine to begin with. Electronic Arts and DICE released today some new screenshots and a trailer for the Donya Fortress that will be featured in the Close Encounters DLC of Battlefield 3. This is the second gameplay trailer from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Close Quarters and as we said, it showcases the map Donya Fortress in all its destructive glory. You can also see the new game mode Conquest Domination in action, being a mix of the tactical classic Conquest mode and the instant action gameplay featured on these tight maps.
