As we reported a couple of days ago, Hayssam Keilany is currently working on the next version of his iCEnhancer mod for GTA IV. There was a lot of confusion between Gaijin’s World of Planes and Wargaming.net’s World of Warplanes. Thankfully, Gaijin decided to rename their title and it’s now called War Thunder: World of Planes. A bit different from Wargaming.net’s title so let’s hope that there won’t be any confusion in the future. Not only that, but Gaijin revealed today the release tree of USSR aircraft to be included in their upcoming combat MMO. YouTube’s member ‘FPSGeneral’ has captured some new footage from Sony Online Entertainment’s upcoming Planetside 2. This is brand new, in-game footage straight from GDC 2012, so be sure to give it a go. And let us tell that it looks great. Planetside 2 comes with a new game engine and will be powered by Nvidia’s PhysX technology. PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game – massive multiplayer battles, distinct empires to rally around, and enormous continents where intense ground and air combat unfolds – and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. I’m pretty sure that a lot of you were disappointed with Diablo III’s new, ‘cartoonish’ art direction. Thankfully, there is an FXAA Injector Mod for it and you can see below the difference between the modded and the vanilla version. The FXAA mod works as a direct3d post processing filter, making the game look sharper, have less saturation, add a slight bit of a (silver) sepia tone, slightly lowered exposure, slightly raised gamma.
