Rebellion and 505 Games released the launch trailer of their sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. Sniper Elite V2 is a third person tactical shooter set in the dying days of World War Two and is a next-generation reboot of 2005’s acclaimed original, Sniper Elite. The game weaves an explosive story of an undercover American OSS agent, stalking enemy prey across key historical locations from the Battle of Berlin in a mission to unravel the mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket programme. 2 Dawn Games have released a new video update for their indie MP focused first-person shooter game, Ravaged. In this video update, we get to see some new footage from Ravaged and let us tell you that it looks sweet. Since this is a game with vehicles, team objectives and skill-based gameplay, it’s essential to have good vehicles controls and physics and from the looks of it, Ravaged has already nailed it. The initial goal of the game’s Kickstarter campaign was $15K USD and 2 Dawn Games have managed to hit that mark. Their new goal now is $50K USD and the more they get, the better they can make the game and the more features they can add based on player’s input. And the time has come everyone. Activision has released the official debut trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and like we said earlier, Woods returns. Well, you won’t be able to control him as he’s an old chap now but you’ll definitely see him. Not only that, but you’ll also get your first look at the futuristic setting that Treyarch has prepared. It looks quite strange to be honest. It’s like a weird combination of Deus Ex and Battlefield 2142. In other words; the Call of Duty you once knew is dead. Kudos to Treyarch for trying something different but… well, let’s hope it will live up to our expectations. The game is slated for a November 13th release on current generation consoles and PC. Man, I should be ashamed for not following this series. The first season of this amazing series has ended two weeks ago and nobody has noticed it. Therefore, we decided to include all episodes of this season, from Episode 3 to the Season Finale. The story more or less is this; Corbin, a Third Echelon operative, infiltrates a hostile compound to detain a high-value target. But things don’t go as planned and soon, he’s in a fight for his life against the greatest threat he’s ever faced – his own agency. We love live action films and series that are based on video games. So get ready everyone for a new live action prequel film to the video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Alpha will be a 25-minute film and will follow the Ghosts as they are dropped deep behind enemy lines in order to eliminate one of the world’s most sought-after war criminals. BlackFoot Studios is a small “high speed, low drag” independent studio whose goal is to fill a void in the style of games many would call ‘Classic’ tactical squad based gaming; As well as develop gaming products that cater to the “thinking gamers” of the tactical first person shooter genre. Square Enix has released a new trailer for the latest part of the Hitman franchise, Hitman: Absolution. In this video, the company showcases how agent 47 can deal with his enemies. Long story short, players will be able to take their enemies out silently or violently. Hitman: Absolution is slated for a 2012 release on current generation consoles and PC and looks quite promising. Let’s just hope that the AI will be sharp and challenging. Portal fans, here is your first look at the upcoming DLC of Portal 2. Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC is currently in beta phase and Valve has given the green light to all beta testers to release and share their videos from it. The following video from YouTube’s member ‘ValveTime’ is 5 minutes – in length- and shows how to use the Steam Workshop, find maps, download and rate them once you’ve completed it. In addition, you will also take a taste of some of those custom maps that are featured in the beta. TopWare Interactive has released today the official gameplay trailer of their upcoming pirate-themed game, Raven’s Cry. This video shows the first early gameplay footage of the pirate revenge tale. According to its press release, “Raven’s Cry” is the story of Christopher Raven, a lost soul haunted by his own inner demons as he hunts for the men who murdered his family in the 17th century Caribbean. Ubisoft has released the third class trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online and in this video, the company showcases the Specialist class. The Specialist is a master in electronic warfare and he’s equipped with Blackout, an energy boost which renders the enemy useless and disoriented as well as A.E.G.I.S which creates an impenetrable shield upon yourself and your surrounding teammate.
