Medal of Honor: Warfighter – Official Gameplay Trailer Released

Electronic Arts have released the first gameplay trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. As we first thought, this Medal of Honor game seems like a mix between Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty. It does look cute, so here is hoping that EA will deliver this time around. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is currently slated for an October 23rd release on current generation consoles and PC. Enjoy! Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition – PC Trailer, game will use GFWL

Born as a forlon hope from fans, the request to ignite the First Flame on the brand new land of PC has grown stronger and stronger. Infused with the support from countless souls from around the world, the request has turn real. Dark Souls is coming to PC, and it is coming loaded with a lot of new content. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be available on the PC platform in Europe and Australasia on August 24th 2012. At an event in Las Vegas, Namco showcases the game’s PC packshot but there was something that might discourage some PC gamers. The game will use GFWL. We know, it sucks but at this point, we don’t think that Namco will change or abandon their plans. Naturally, there is a petition but, well… don’t count in that. Enjoy the trailer! Street Fighter X Tekken Episode 1 – Animated Short

Capcom has released the first episode of an animated short film for Street Fighter X Tekken. This first part shows some of the game’s characters and explains Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu are fighting each other. It looks cool, but the animated short is only available in English. We strongly believe that there should be a Japanese version and hopefully Capcom will release one. In other news, Street Fighter x Tekken is slatted for a May 11th release. Enjoy! Project CARS gets first comparison with Shift 2 and a new ‘night’ lighting demonstration

YouTube’s member ‘Jonz66’ made an interesting comparison video between Project CARS and Shift 2. Jonz66 captured footage from the Bathurst  track and we can immediately notice some differences between them. In Shift 2, players wre complaining about the cars ‘sliding’ and thankfully for them, this sliding effect is not present in pCARs. In addition, both the lighting and the shadowing system seems better in Project CARS. Shift 2 wins when it comes to environmental detail but we should keep in mind that Project CARS is still in pre-alpha stage. Resident Evil 6 – New Screenshots & Captivate 2012 Trailer

Capcom has released some brand new screenshots, as well as a new Captivate 2012 trailer, for Resident Evil 6. According to its new press release, Resident Evil 6 will be launched in October 2nd on consoles and at a later date on the PC. Let’s hope that it will come to our platform before the end of 2012. Resident Evil 6 features three distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online. Lost Planet 3 Information Leaked; First Trailer, developed by Spark Unlimited, coming 2013, will hit PC at a later date

Lost Planet fans, get ready for the third part of this action-oriented series. Some information got leaked and it appears that Spark Unlimited will be behind the wheel of Lost Planet 3. Not only that, but a trailer for the game was leaked to, hinting to a 2013 release on X360 and PS3. Typically, the PC version was not listed but given the fact that Capcom has released both Lost Planet 1 and 2 on our platform, we can safely assume that it will come to it at a later date. Keep in mind that Captivate’s 2012 embargo will be lifted today, so expect even more news about Capcom’s future games. Enjoy! DiRT Showdown gets a ‘Boost For The Win’ Trailer

Codemasters have revealed a new trailer for DiRT Showdown. The ‘Boost For The Win’ video features the chaotic, full-contact, all-action racing set to star in DiRT Showdown. On the streets, in the snow and through the dirt buggies, saloons, muscle cars and more all go head-to-head in chaotic circuit races where drivers must charge ahead of the pack by any means necessary. STALKER 2 – Leaked Video from former GSC employee

Sergey Zhukov, a former GSC employee (animator), has leaked an animation video of the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game. This video shows off the new animation system that will be – hopefully – used in the game, as well as the more detailed characters. Overgrowth Alpha 175 Changes; weapon physics added, one-handed sword fight implemented

Wolfire Games have released a new video to showcase the changed that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, the team’s programmer has added physics to the weapons that have a huge impact to the fights. In addition, David Rosen has added stances, attacks and parries for one-handed dog sword. SMITE – PAX 2012 Gameplay Footage

YouTube’s member ‘fryedegg’ has uploaded some new PAX 2012 gameplay footage from Hi-Rez Studios’ SMITE. Developed by Hi-Rez Studios, SMITE is a DoTA-style 3rd person action game where gods from various mythologies fight for supremacy in action-packed multiplayer battles, within beautiful environments powered by Unreal Engine 3.
