Back in June, we informed you about Defiance, Trion Worlds’ and SyFy’s latest action MMO game. Defiance promises to combine the intense action of a shooter, with the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO game. Moreover, developers plan to ‘sync’ both the show and the game. This means that the show and the game will influence each other and evolve together over time. With PAX under way, Trion Worlds released a gameplay trailer for it that contains pre-alpha footage. Runic Games have released a new in-game video for their upcoming action RPG, Torchlight II. This video is preview of the Berserker charge-bar mechanic from Torchlight II. As the Berserker attacks her enemies, she gradually gains charge. When the charge limit is reached, the Berserker goes into a Frenzy state, where all attacks result in Critical Hits. Bioware and Electronic Arts have announced a new DLC for Mass Effect 3. Available to download for owners of Mass Effect 3 for free, the Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack adds two new maps to the game’s critically acclaimed cooperative multiplayer experience, along with a variety of new playable characters, new weapons and new items that can be unlocked by acquiring reinforcement packs in the game’s multiplayer store. The Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack will be available for download on April 10 on Xbox LIVE and the Origin client software and on PlayStation Network in North America on April 10 and in Europe on April 11. How would you know the difference between the dream world, and the real world? Well, that’s exactly the idea behind birgirpall’s latest experimental BF3 video. There is no denying that MGS features one of the best soundtracks. Once you hear its theme, it gets stuck in your head. And in the past, we’ve seen some amazing covers and reworks of it. Who can forget the fabulous Metal Gear May Cry OCRemix that was made by Jared Hudson? And today we have an amazing combilation of various themes from the series that were arranged for an acoustic guitar duo by Simon Leong, and performed by Simon Leong and Alasdair Poon.
