Overgrowth Alpha 165 Changes

Wolfire Games released a new video, in which the team’s main programmer, David Rosen, shows off the changes that were made to Overgrowth’s latest alpha version. David has added basic knife throw auto-targeting and controls and this indie, lovely, game gets better each and every week. New Mind-Blowing Unofficial Project CARS Trailer

YouTube’s member ‘HDTanel’ has uploaded an amazing, unofficial trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ community-based racing sim game, Project CARS. rFactor 2 Beta Bloopers; when collision physics go wrong

As always, beta versions of games come with bugs. Lots of bugs. And when it comes to racing games, the most common bug is the collision physics bug, in which cars crash for no apparent reason and start floating around. Battlefield 3: The most epic or the most lucky jet flyby, you decide

The key to success is timing and precision guys. Well, that’s what my teacher used to tell me but I believe that, along those things, luck is pretty much essential. You can be the best pilot in the world, but you sure as hell need to be lucky to achieve a dive like the one of the following video. YouTube’s member ‘2cgamingvids’ has witnessed the impossible; an epic jet dive that could very well lead to a crash. That player flying the jet is either one hell of a pilot, or really lucky. New Wargame: European Escalation Trailer

Focus Interactive released a new trailer for their upcoming, explosive real-time strategy game that is developed for PC by Eugen Systems, Wargame: European Escalation. This trailer is fully created using in-game footage, and presents NATO forces and a few of the 361 units of the game, in breathtaking action. The ambush set up by the Warsaw Pact quickly escalates into a full-blown, spectacular battle, as NATO units call in for reinforcements to strike back the aggressor. YouTube’s member ‘FRANKIEonPCin1080p’ uploaded a pretty interesting and funny video, in which he tries to replicate Nintendo’s classic Super Mario Kart in Battlefield 3. Is this faithful to the original game? Hardly. Is it cool? Hell yeah. Crysis PhotorealIV EGM gives us a taste of how Crysis would look like if it was released today

If there is one mod that can make Crysis unique and refreshing, then that’s definitely CyberAlien’s Extreme Quality Mod. CyberAlien’s mod is a piece of art and modder ‘x0TuRn0x’ decided to go the extra mile and to fix some bugs of it, as well as to include it in a map. Thus, Crysis PhotorealIV EGM has come to life. This little mod/map comes with better motion blur and DoF, as well as some gameplay improvements. And damn, those sand textures look lovely!
