Crusader Kings II – Seven Deadly Sins: Greed

Paradox Interactive released the fourth, and perhaps last, live-action trailer for their upcoming strategy game, Crusader Kings II. True to the game, the King has overstretched himself, conquered the lands of far too many rulers and finds himself with a list of enemies as long as his codpiece. Only his spymaster can save the day, and the man is a conniving, filthy, traitorous, two-faced scoundrel. Crusader Kings II is currently slated for a February 7th release on the PC. Sweet mother of Jesus; Black Mesa Source is still alive

Black Mesa Source could very well be the new DNF phenomenon. It has been in development for so many years and since we haven’t got any news about it for so long, a lot of gamers have started thinking that this could be a vaporware and nothing more. Well, good news for everyone as a new gameplay footage has been leaked, showing the beginning of the game and the memorable train sequence. Now you could say that it looks a bit dated but compared to the original game, this looks like a pretty damn good overhaul. Word has it that this is an older build – about three years old. No release date has been announced as of yet for Black Mesa Source, though our guess is that it might see the light of day in 2012. Fingers crossed. CES 2012: Intel caught cheating while demonstrating F1 2011 in DX11 on Ivy Bridge based Ultrabook

That’s hilarious. Intel attempted to demonstrate the DirectX 11 capabilities of their Ivy Bridge based Ultrabook and guess what; although the commentator was doing his best to simulate his driving skills and claimed that F1 2011 was running in DX11 mode, the main monitor betrayed him when he tried to press the play button on the video player program that was running at the background. This is just sad and shows that Intel’s Ivy Bridge based Ultrabook is not as good for gaming as you’d hoped to. Mooly Eden tried to make a comeback and said that the game was played by someone at backstage, when that wasn’t the case. This is a ‘double fail’ for Intel. Enjoy the following video from Intel’s show. Special thanks to YouTube member ‘networkworld’ for uploading it! Star Marine: Infinite Ammo looks retro-sexy and comes out in January 12th on iOS devices

You know what? Sometimes, I’m really jealous of the iOS devices. Why you ask? But because they get so many cool retro games that are pretty much must-have for every retro fan. And while watching Star Marine: Infinite Ammo’s trailer, I couldn’t help but think how similar it looked with all those amazing run’n’gun SNES platformers, like Contra, Jurassic Park 2, Power Rangers and Super Turrican. Man, I really miss those days. But anyway, Star Marine: Infinite Ammo looks similar, which is a plus in our books.
