A lot of Silent Hill fans were expecting to get their hands on Silent Hill 2 Remake in 2023. However, it appears that this highly anticipated game will not be coming out this year. Instead, according to the voice actor of the main protagonist, Silent Hill 2 Remake will release in early 2024.
At this point, this actually makes perfect sense. We haven’t seen or heard anything from Silent Hill 2 Remake since its official announcement in October 2022, so we can safely say that it won’t release in 2023. And, if we take into account some rumors that suggest this game is closer than anyone thinks, we can assume that it will be coming out early next year.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature impressive graphics. And, let’s hope that this game will be as polished as Layers of Fear was.
Moreover, this remake will require a high-end PC system, especially for its High Settings. According to its official PC specs, PC gamers will need an NVIDIA RTX2080 for 1080p/High/30fps. Bloober Team also hinted that the game will support DLSS and other upscaling techniques.
Stay tuned for more!
