Modder ‘DeadLock’ has just released an Easy Difficulty Mod for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, allowing less experienced players to enjoy the game’s story. This is a must-have for those who found this latest FromSoft game a bit too hard.
Now I know, shame on using Easy Modes and “cheats” for a FromSoft game. If you are one of those who have finished the game, more power to you. However, some players would love to enjoy this mecha game without the need to “git good”. And, since this is a mod, there is nothing really wrong with it.
Going into slightly more details, this mod changes a lot of the default weapons. For instance, Coral Rifle Redshift will no longer have a cooldown and it’ll have an insta-kill beam. The Booster now costs nothing and the Generator will now instantly recharge energy.
Again, if you’ve finished the game, you can skip this mod. If, on the other hand, you want an Easy Mode for this latest mecha game, you can download it from this link.
Also note that this is a different mod from the one we shared in September 2023. That mod retained a level of challenge to the game (and IMO it’s a better mod). On the other hand, this mod makes the game too Easy.
