Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans, we have some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that a new AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation Mod was released for this AC game. The bad news is that it’s a paid mod.
Created by modder PureDark, this mod adds support for both AMD FSR 3.0 Super Resolution and FSR 3.0 Frame Generation. This mod supports all GPUs, meaning that owners of AMD and Intel GPUs can use it to increase their performance.
By using Frame Generation, you can also improve performance on older CPUs. And, for an open-world game like AC: Valhalla, this is a must.
As said, this mod is behind a Patreon wall, which is kind of a bummer. For NVIDIA RTX owners, PureDark has also released an NVIDIA DLSS 3 Mod for this game. And, once again, this is a paid mod.
A few months ago, we saw some free DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 mods for some games. Since then, though, most modders stopped working on them. Thus, the only one who is still releasing DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 Mods for older titles is PureDark.
Let’s hope that the modders will up their game. And, let’s hope that some of them will release free DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0 mods for upcoming titles that do not officially support them.
