Brutal Doom V22 Test 4 & Blood Remake in GZDoom Released


Doom fans, here is something for you today. Two cool new mods for id Software’s classic FPS have been released. The first one is the latest version of Brutal Doom, whereas the second is a remake of Monolith’s Blood in GZDoom.

Let’s start with Brutal Doom. Brutal Doom V22 brings massive performance improvements. Moreover, it greatly improves the blood decals and blood effects. As such, wall blood decals will now look more realistic and lag less when looked up close.

Not only that but V22 yes new water particles that appear to be more optimized than the previous ones. Many weapons have received new textures, and all enemy projectiles have new explosions.

In short, this is a must for everyone who wants to replay Doom with this amazing mod. So, waste no time and download it from this link.

On the other hand, Re-Blood, is a remake (or a port if you like) of Blood in GZDoom. Blood originally used the Build Engine. By porting it to GZDoom, the game has received some QoL improvements. Finally, if you own an RTX GPU, you should try Doom 2 Ray-Traced. Doom 2 Ray-Traced adds full path tracing effects to the game.
