Modder ‘ElFonz0’ has released a gameplay overhaul mod for Dark Souls 3 that focuses on expanding the player’s moveset and options. Additionally, it provides a number of quality of life improvements and miscellaneous changes.
The Reforged Mod expands the ways that the player can perform inputs in order to do new attacks and maneuvers. For instance, the mod adds new standard attacks to movesets. Moreover, it revamps the Forward R1 attacks. Not only that, but it adds Backstep Attack, Heavy Left and Block Heavy.
Furthermore, Reforged adds several unused armor sets to various shops and progression. It also implements several extra service options for Bonfires. Furthermore, it makes many armor pieces combo differently with others.
You can download this gameplay overhaul mod from here.
Lastly, and speaking of Dark Souls 3, we also suggest checking out the following mods. Do note that some of the gameplay mods may not be compatible with Reforged.
This mod rebalances and adds new weapons & spells to the game. Similarly, Call Of the Abyss is an overhaul mod that adds new weapons, spells, items, armors and more, whereas Dark Souls Archthrones is a Demon’s Souls-inspired mod. The Convergence adds over 150 spells, new bosses, dozens of weapons & more. On the other hand, BloodSouls Judgement of Ash adds new bosses, animations, areas, and over 150 weapons. Additionally, Dark Souls 3 Born From the Ashes aims to make the game even harder by adding a lot of enemies (it also adds new free content to it). Dark Souls 3 Ashen Blood is a single-player Bloodborne-based overhaul mod. And lastly, Champion’s Ashes is a mod that aims to competitively balance PVP.
Have fun!
