Dragon's Dogma 2 feature-3

Dragon’s Dogma 2 just got a mod that prevents you from sliding off rocks and cliffs

Modder ‘Nickesponja’ has released a must-have mod for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that prevents you from sliding off rocks and cliffs. This is an amazing QoL improvement that will significantly enhance your gaming experience. So, make sure to download it if you’re currently playing Capcom’s latest title.

Now I get it. Sliding off cliffs and rocks can make DD2 a bit more “realistic“. However, you can easily slide off a cliff during a fight and die. You can also slide off rocks and die while exploring the environments. And hey, why do we need realism in a game in which you can ride dragons?

The point is that this mod can make Dragon’s Dogma 2 more enjoyable. It has nothing to do with being less realistic or easier. This is something that Capcom should have included (at least as an optional setting).

Anyway, those interested can go ahead and download the mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video showcases what the mod actually does, so be sure to watch it.

Last week, Capcom released a new update for Dragon’s Dogma 2. This update added official support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation. As such, you won’t have to rely on this mod to use it.

Speaking of DD2, I also suggest giving these mods a go. These mods will greatly enhance your gaming experience, so they are a must. At least in my opinion. You can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have the Save Manager Mod which is a must-have mod. This mod allows you to start a new game, create multiple characters, and have an unlimited number of save files for each character.

Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Moreover, you can download this mod to enable Path Tracing. It still has some issues but man, the game can look so good with Path Tracing. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use the highest quality normal maps, and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
