Dragon’s Dogma 2 fans, here is something special for you today. Modder ‘FilmArtMods’ has released an incredible mod that adds to the game a Samurai/Ninja vocation. This vocation is heavily inspired by the Final Fantasy series and Ghost of Tsushima. So, let’s see what’s in store for you.
Going into more details, the skills are redesigned using the skills and features from Dragon’s Dogma 2 with the Skill Maker tool from alphaZomega. Playing with this new vocation will let you experience the game in a whole new way.
For instance, players can use Ninja jumps and leaps to explore new locations. By using these skills, you’ll be able to reach locations that were previously inaccessible.
The Forbidden Samurai vocation features three main fighting techniques. These are Samurai Techniques, Ninja Techniques and Forbidden Arts (Magic). In total, you can expect around 20 new skills.
Those interested can download the mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find two videos. These videos showcase the new skills of this vocation. So, be sure to watch them as they can give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
Speaking of DD2, there are some other cool mods that you can download for it. These mods, though, may not be compatible with this new vocation mod.
You can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have this mod that prevents you from falling off rocks and cliffs. There is also this mod that attempts to make the game feel more like Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. Moreover, you can download this mod to enable Path Tracing. It still has some issues but man, the game can look so good with Path Tracing. There is also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use the highest quality normal maps, and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.
Have fun!
