Our reader ‘K-Man’ has shared the following comparison video which included a download link for the DLSS Mod for Elden Ring. As the title suggests, this mod adds support for DLSS 3.1 Super Resolution.
Do note that this isn’t the DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod we mentioned yesterday. This mod simply uses the latest version of DLSS Super Resolution.
From what I know, this is a beta version of PureDark’s Upscaler Mod. PureDark has not released this mod yet to the public. Moreover, it appears that FSR is not working with this beta version.
Now the good news here is that by using this mod, you can get constant 60fps at 4K with Ray Tracing on an NVIDIA RTX 4090. In this comparison, DLSS also appeared to be softer than TAA.
My guess is that PureDark will release a better (and more performant) version of this Upscaler Mod in the future. Until then, you can go ahead and give this beta version a go.
You can find the download link in the video description!
