Modders ‘BriJee’ and ‘Mike Nov’ announced that Half-Life 2 Overcharged will release on Steam in February 2022. In order to celebrate this announcement, the modders released a new gameplay trailer that you can find below.
Half-Life 2 Overcharged is a mod that aims to fix, improve and enhance numerous features and gameplay elements of Valve’s classic shooter.
The mod will feature a completely reworked gunplay, extended maps, uncut locations and over 50 weapons. Moreover, it will have accurate player screen movement, and will allow players to slow down time.
Players can also expect a tweaked AI combat logic, which will make enemies a bit tougher. Furthermore, the duo has added some new combine units that players will fight. Additionally, there will be a “Fire Mode” feature, and over 300 gameplay options.
We’ll be sure to let you know when this mod will come out. Until then, enjoy the following gameplay trailer!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
