Modder ‘instanity’ has released a must-have high-quality HD Texture Pack for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. This pack will overhaul all of the game’s main characters. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
Now in case you’re wondering, instanity is the same modder behind the 4K Improved Story and Side Characters Mod. For that mod, the modder used AI tools to upscale the original textures. In this new pack, however, we get custom hand-made textures.
As said, this mod improves the faces and clothes of all main characters as well as side characters. And, since it has custom textures, I highly recommend using it. From what I could see, it has better textures than it. Still, if you want the original textures at a higher resolution, you can stick with the previous pack.
You can go ahead and download this new HD Texture Pack from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find some screenshots from it. These screenshots will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. So, be sure to check them out.
Speaking of RDR2, here are some other cool mods for it. First up is a mod that introduces a very cool New Game+ Mode. Another mod revamps the interior lighting of buildings. And don’t miss out on the Visual Redemption Project. There’s also this mod that adds random world events. For some extra fun, there’s a gameplay mod that allows the player to use NPC-exclusive scenarios. You can also download this mod that adds fully functional cars to the game. Last but not least, there’s a mod that brings support for DLSS Ultra Quality & DLAA to the game, and another mod that allows you to explore Nuevo Paraiso.
To improve the game’s graphics, you can use the following mods and HD texture packs. For example, this pack will upscale the textures of various objects like badges, boats, gravestones, food, and more. Then we have an HD Texture Pack for terrain, HD textures for ground and rocks, and an HD Texture Pack for vegetation.

Last week, Rockstar announced that the first RDR game will be coming to PC on October 29th. Red Dead Redemption Remaster on PC will require a Rockstar account, and it will be priced at $49,99.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
