Modder ‘GPUnity’ has released a new mod for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that aims to improve its graphics. To be more specific, this mod improves the game’s shadows, draw distance, volumetrics and motion blur.
Going into more detail, on the Max settings, the mod adjusts the draw distance range between 2X and 3X. It also improves the quality of shadows by four times, and it increases the quality of volumetrics by two times. Plus, it increases the sample count for motion blur by 3X.
The end result is a more stable image. The game will no longer have as many pop-ins as it had in its vanilla version. Moreover, you will no longer get annoying low-res shadows right in front of view.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video showcases the improvements this mod brings to the table. It also has some before/after comparison shots. So, be sure to watch it.
Speaking of Sekiro, there are some other cool mods that you can download. In theory, this graphics mod should be compatible with them.
Let’s start with Sekiro: Dream of the Damned. This is an overhaul mod that adds new content to the final invasion state of the game. Sekiro Online is another amazing mod that allows you to play online. Then we have this cool Enemy and Item Randomizer Mod. Plus, there is an incredible first-person mod and a must-have HD Texture Pack.
And that’s not all. This mod adds more world decoration and NPC wars to the game. On the other hand, this gameplay mod enhances some of the bosses, and adds new mechanisms. Finally, we have this mod that enables dynamic shadows from static lights.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
