In August 2022, we informed you about the Visual Redemption Project for Red Dead Redemption 2. And today, we are happy to report that a new version of it is available for download.
Currently this mod overhauls various weathers, improves shadow distance in each weather, reduces the intensity of heat haze, fixes bloom render on lights, improves water reflections, fixes moon positioning and much more.
Visual Redemption also comes with an Optional Add-On that retains the Vanilla atmosphere and lighting, but still improves shadows and other small things. Additionally, the mod supports the RedM multiplayer client.
You can go ahead and download this graphics mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 from here. Below you can also find a video that showcases its improved graphics.
Speaking of RDR 2, we also suggest downloading the following mods for it. In theory, these mods should be compatible with Visual Redemption. So, for starters, there is this AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack that overhauls all weapons. Then we have this 2K Texture Pack that overhauls all NPCs. Additionally, you can download a mod that adds an unofficial New Game+ Mode. Here is also a mod that overhauls the interior lighting of buildings. Let’s also not forget this cool mod that enables bullet penetration. Red Dead Redemption 2 also has a gameplay mod that allows the player to use NPC-exclusive scenarios. And finally, this mod adds support for DLSS Ultra Quality & DLAA.
Have fun!
