Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod increases LOD and view distance

Modder ‘MrTorrance’ has released a must-have mod for all Red Dead Redemption 2 fans. This mod will increase the game’s LOD and view distance values, which will result in less pop-in of distant objects.

This RDR2 Mod increases the distance of highly detailed assets that the game will load. It also extends the high-quality LOD, making distant vistas to be more detailed than ever. Plus, it improves objects that are in interior places, meaning that they won’t fade out right in front of you.

The mod comes in three versions. The Basic version only includes the extended high-quality LOD. Then, we have the High and Very High versions. These versions increase the distance of highly detailed assets, extend the LOD, and improve the quality of interior objects.

Now since this mod increases the view distance and the quality of LODs, it may come with a performance hit. So, keep that in mind before installing it. This mod is most likely for owners of high-end GPUs. And, you can download it from this link.
