Modder ‘Arthas’ has released a new 8K Texture Pack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that overhauls the game’s sewers. This pack is 760MB in size, and you can also find below a video that showcases its new highly detailed textures.
Going into more details, this pack has 13 diffuse maps and 13 alpha normal maps. In order to create these textures, Arthas used Gigapixel AI and Adobe Photoshop. In other words, the modder has upscaled the original textures, which means that these new textures retain the art style of their original versions.
From what I know, this is the first 8K Texture Pack for Oblivion. Since it only covers the game’s sewers, you’ll most likely be able to use it alongside this other AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack.
Speaking of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, we also suggest taking a look at these two other mods. The first one is called Prism of Hammerfell and is a new standalone fan expansion. The second mod we recommend downloading is Shroud Over Stalrous Manor. Shroud Over Stalrous Manor is a quest mod, spanning 9 chapters of “dark mystique, mystery and psychogenic horror.”
Have fun!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
