Modder ‘GBRPluss’ has released an HD Texture Pack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that overhauls all of its landscape textures. This is a must for everyone who wants to replay this classic TES game. So, be sure to download it.
To showcase the new textures, GBRPluss shared the following comparison screenshots. And, I’ll be honest here. This appears to be one of the best AI-powered HD Texture Packs I’ve seen. The new modded textures look WAY better than the vanilla ones. You can also immediately spot the differences. You won’t have to zoom in to find the changes.
So, those interested can go ahead and download this HD Texture Pack for TES IV: Oblivion from this link. In theory, the pack should be compatible with the pack we shared last month. After all, they focus on different areas. However, it will not be compatible with the other 4K Texture Packs we’ve shared for Oblivion.
In my opinion, this new HD Texture Pack is a must. So, forget the previous packs and use this one. The new textures featured in it look amazing. So, kudos to the modder for achieving such results with AI.
In 2023, there were rumors about Bethesda working on a remake of Oblivion, but nothing official has been announced yet. So, if you want a better version of Oblivion, you should simply start modding it. Use an HD Texture Pack and Reshade for amazing results. That is until an RTX Remix Mod comes out. And man, Oblivion would look incredible with Path Tracing.
Speaking of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, we also suggest taking a look at these two other mods. The first one is called Prism of Hammerfell and is a new standalone fan expansion. The second mod we recommend downloading is Shroud Over Stalrous Manor. Shroud Over Stalrous Manor is a quest mod, spanning 9 chapters of “dark mystique, mystery and psychogenic horror.”
Have fun!
