Resident Evil fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘BlitzKrieg’ has released two mods for Resident Evil 4 Remake that add the original voices of Albert Wesker.
Using AI techniques, the modder was able to create Wesker’s dialogue lines using D.C. Douglas and Richard Waugh. Since I’m a big fan of D.C. Douglas, I gave this mod a go and the results are impressive. Yes, Wesker now sounds more like the Wesker some of you loved in Resident Evil 5.

This Albert Wesker AI Mod is not the first one we’ve seen for Resident Evil 4 Remake. Last month, we shared a similar mod that replaced Ada Wong’s voice. Do note, though, that that mod may not be compatible with these new ones. Thankfully, BlitzKrieg has also created an Ada Wong Mod that you can download.
Speaking of Resident Evil 4 Remake, I also suggest taking a look at these mods for it. For starters, we have this experimental VR Mod. Then, we have this mod that removes the Yellow Paint from the game’s destructible objects. PC gamers can also download a DLSS Mod, as well as a mod that adds RPG-like Health Bars to enemies.
