Cyberpunk 2077 Taxi Driver Mod

This mod adds a Grand Theft Auto-inspired Taxi Driver Mode to Cyberpunk 2077

One of my favorite side activities in Grand Theft Auto 3 was its taxi mode. Believe it or not, I’ve spent countless times as a taxi driver when that game came out on PC. And finally, modder ‘RollermineC’ released a mod that adds a similar Taxi Driver mode to Cyberpunk 2077.

Thanks to this mod, players will take on the role of a Combat Cab driver. Moreover, they will be able to explore Night City as they transport passengers to their destinations.

Players need to pick up customers and drive them to their destinations. After each successful ride, players earn money based on how far they drove. By completing rides, players can unlock new vehicles from Autofixer and eventually get cars from Combat Cab.

When you start Taxi Work, a customer will appear at a pickup spot near you. The spot is chosen randomly from all fast travel points in the game. It will be between 100 meters and 1 kilometer from where you are.

Upon reaching the pickup location, you must stop the cab near the customer and wait for them to enter. After picking up the customer, the dropoff location is randomly selected from the same pool as the pickup location. The dropoff point can range from 500m to 10km away.

The customer’s base fare and extra tip will be shown in the quest journal. The base fare is calculated as 100 + (Distance in meters / 10). The extra tip starts at 50% of the base fare and goes up by 10% after each completed fare. It can increase to a maximum of 200% after you finish 15 fares in a row.

After picking up a customer, the tip amount starts going down by 3% every 10 seconds. If you crash the car, the tip will go down even more, depending on how bad the crash is. The tip won’t go below $0. If you are driving cabs bought from Autofixer, the tip reduction will only be 1.5%.

Taxi Work will end if the customer panics before entering the cab or if the customer takes too much damage. You can also end the Taxi Work by leaving the cab.

In short, this is a must-have mod for everyone who currently plays CP2077. So, if you are interested in it, you can go ahead and download it from this link.

If you’re into Cyberpunk 2077, there are some other cool mods you should check out. For instance, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, a mod that can significantly improve the game’s draw distance, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Oh, and don’t forget these mods that allow you to play as Ciri from The Witcher 3.

To improve the game’s graphics, you can use Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked or this other HD Texture Pack that improves all trees. There’s also another pack that improves the textures of almost all buildings, terrain, and environments. However, these packs don’t work together. Therefore, you’ll have to use only one of them.

Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API which enables ChatGPT support. Responsive NPCs is another cool mod that enables dynamic NPC reactions. Don’t sleep on it as it can enhance your gaming experience. There is also this mod that fixes the game’s broken Ray Tracing Reflections. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were cut from the game.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
