Elden Ring and NieR Automata fans, here is something special for you today. Modder ‘shintheweapon’ has released a mod that allows you to play the base game and the latest DLC of Elden Ring as 2B or 2P from NieR Automata.
This mod has the classic outfits of 2B and 2P, and it has full hair and cloth physics. It also comes with 3 great katanas, 1 straight sword, 1 great sword, 1 great shield and 1 medium shield.
From what I can tell, this is an expanded version of the 2B Mod that shintheweapon released in February 2024. If you are still using that mod, you can skip this one. After all, the modder has already released a new version that made it compatible with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
In short, this is just a character swap mod. So, don’t expect any custom movesets for 2B or 2P. Still, the 3D models look great, so this is something that some of you may find interesting.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link.
Sadly, the modder hasn’t shared any videos for it. However, you can find below a GIF, as well as some screenshots. These should give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
Ironically, this isn’t the first game in which modders have added 2B. So, if you are a fan of hers, you can download these mods that allow you to play as her in Resident Evil 3 Remake, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, CODE VEIN, Sekiro, Dark Souls 3, and Monster Hunter World.
Speaking of Elden Ring, there are some other cool mods that you can try. The first must-have mod is the Seamless Co-op Mod. A few days ago, the modding team behind it added support for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion, Then we have this mod which brings to the game a parry system like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Now if you don’t want to use the MGRR Mod, you can try this one that adds Sekiro-like deflection & dodge mechanics. You can also find an unofficial Survival Mode mod. Make also sure to check out Primeval Balance V3 for new character classes with cool moves. And don’t miss the fantastic first-person mod. NVIDIA RTX owners can also use this mod to enable DLSS 3.5 Super Resolution. And finally, if you want to improve its graphics, there’s a huge 25GB HD Texture Pack for over 4500 textures.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
