In December 2023, we shared a mod for Yakuza: Like a Dragon that turned it into a classic Yakuza action brawler. And today, we are happy to report that a similar mod is available for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
For those unaware, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a turn-based RPG. And that’s something that put off a number of die-hard Yakuza fans. You see, the Yakuza series started as an action brawler. And, thanks to this mod, you can experience Infinite Wealth as a true classic action Yakuza game.
Like A Brawler 8 will let you juggle combos, features mortal reversals, and will allow you to fight alongside your party members. Moreover, it allows you to put out weapons during combat.
Created by ‘Jhrino’, the mod is based on his previous real-time action combat mod for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. However, this isn’t a mere port of it. Instead, it features major tweaks and enhancements.
This is a must-have mod for all Yakuza fans. Even if you have finished Infinite Wealth, this mod will allow you to experience it in a completely different way. I seriously cannot praise it enough. This could have easily passed as an official optional game/combat mode. So, kudos to the modder for creating something this cool.
You can go ahead and download Like A Brawler 8 from this link. The mod requires the Steam version of the game. Moreover, you’ll need Shin Ryu Mod Manager and NET Framework 4.8.
