SuperData has shared its monthly report, stating that 80% of Cyberpunk 2077’s digital sales are from the PC. According to the company, Cyberpunk 2077 had the biggest game launch of all time based on digital revenue and digital units sold.
From what we know so far, Cyberpunk 2077 has sold 13 million units worldwide on all platforms.
In other news, Fortnite earnings were at their highest since August 2020 on both PC and consoles, and player numbers were larger than at any point since August 2019. As SuperData noted, high-profile events and collaborations continue to draw people to the shooter. In addition, Fortnite set a new record of concurrent players in December 2020 (15.3 million players).
It’s also worth noting that the release of the Cayo Perico Heist for Grand Theft Auto V resulted in the game’s highest monthly digital earnings ever. Player numbers also grew 46% from November levels but did not exceed totals achieved earlier in 2020.
Lastly, Among Us player numbers fell from their November peak. However, the game was still 2.8 times as popular as the next most popular game, Roblox.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
