Kotaku has revealed that a new BioShock game is under development. While the big publication did not reveal any additional details, it did reveal that some of the members from the development team have worked in Mafia 3.
As Kotaku’s Jason Schreier reported, the next game in the BioShock franchise is currently in development at a secret studio in San Francisco. Jason Schreier is a reliable source so it’s almost certain. Still, and since 2K Games has not confirmed anything yet, take it with a grain of salt.
This new BioShock game will not be created by Ken Levine, the man behind the franchise who has founded Ghost Story Games and is working on a new first-person sci-fi game.
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
