Namco Bandai has revealed some new information about the PC version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon and – as most of you may have already guessed – the game will use GFWL for its multiplayer mode. Yeap, it sucks but that was a given. You didn’t expect Namco to re-write the game’s MP code… did you? Let’s at least hope that the game won’t feature any 30fps lock like Dark Souls did.
According to the press release, the enhanced edition of Ace Combat Assault Horizon features controls and graphics that have been optimized specifically for PC users.
Moreover, the PC version will include many of the DLC items released on the console versions of the game. Players will have immediate access to additional aircrafts and numerous aircraft skins as well as skills and maps.
The multiplayer portion of the game will feature support through Games for Windows Live from Microsoft.
The game will be available at retailers and for download via Steam and the Games for Windows Marketplace.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon PC is planned for a Q1 2013 release and will be priced at £23.99!
