And we are going in circles. A couple of days ago, we informed you about a possible patch that could fix the ridiculous RAM requirement for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Activision claimed back then that it was looking into this issue, however it seems that a PC patch is not a priority for the company. When a fan asked yesterday about a patch for Call of Duty: Ghosts PC in order to fix the game’s fps and lag issues, Activision claimed that there won’t be such a patch anytime soon.
As Activision responded to the fan who asked the aforementioned question:
“No plans for a patch but please try these tip located here: tinyurl.com/mz3umx5 Thanks”
This is… well… ridiculous. Now before cursing Infinity Ward, let us remind you that this answer was provided by Activision, meaning that there might still be hope for an incoming update. After all, Infinity Ward is supposedly working with Nvidia for that PhysX patch that will add Nvidia’s Fur Tech on it.
Let’s just hope that Infinity Ward will be able to address the issues that have plagued the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Oh, and let’s hope that there will be a fix for the textures issues that we’ve reported.
Kudos to our reader “Justin Salih” for spotting it!
