Now here is something really interesting. A HD version of Essemble Studios’ classic strategy game, Age of Empires II, has appeared on Steam’s registry. This HD version was added yesterday, on March 5th, and according to Steam’s registry, this will be a gift and not a proper game. Could this mean that an Age of Empires collection is almost upon us with the HD version of Age of Empires II as a gift?
Naturally, most of us would love to get a HD version with reworked visuals, however this won’t be the case. Our at least that’s what we believe. Most probably, this HD version will come with Widescreen support, some Steam achievements and compatibility fixes to various issues for Windows 7/8/Vista.
