So, you’ve been wondering about Alan Wake’s PC sales, right? Well, everything seems to be going great for Remedy’s little gem. The game is currently at the second place of Steam’s weekly Charts and has managed to hit #1 on Steam at launch day. Remedy has stated a few days ago that they were happy with the game’s sales, however they didn’t reveal any numbers. But look and behold; Alan Wake PC is profitable in less than 48 hours.
As Remedy’s Aki Järvilehto said when fans asked about Alan Wake’s PC sales:
“I wanted to chime in here. We are very happy with the sales and hitting #1 on Steam at launch was nothing short of amazing. We recouped our development and marketing expenses during the first 48 hours. And yes, we’re certainly very excited about PC.”
Great news for Remedy and let’s hope that this will make them port American Nightmare sooner than later.
Special thanks to our reader, Halil Ra, for spotting it.
