Allison Road was a project most gamers were looking forward to. Well, the development team announced today that its Kickstarter campaign has been cancelled. Fear not horror fans, though, as Lilith has teamed up with Team17 in order to “properly” create Allison Road.
As Lilith stated in a new update:
“We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Team17’s highly successful games label.
If you don’t know who Team17 are, they are most known for their Worms franchise, however, they run a fully independent games label. For us it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a label that looks after not only such a massive gaming franchise, but also supports developers like Playtonic,Mouldy Toof and many others.”
According to Lilith, this new opportunity will give the team the chance to “make its game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give.“

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
