THQ Nordic has just released Alone in the Dark Prologue on Steam. This is a free standalone prologue of the game that puts you in the tiny shoes of an 11-year-old girl, Grace Saunders.
In this demo, players will experience the haunting atmosphere of Derceto Manor, where psychological horror meets Southern Gothic. Players will dive into the eldritch nightmare of Alone in the Dark in this exclusive first taste of Alone in the Dark’s full experience.
THQ Nordic has also released the PC requirements for this demo. The publisher recommends using an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700. The demo is only using the DX12 API, and requires 20GB of free hard-disk space.
You can download Alone in the Dark Prologue from here.
Have fun!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
