AMD has released a new driver for its graphics cards that aims to offer the best gaming experience in God of War: Ragnarok, Frostpunk 2 and Final Fantasy 16.
According to the release notes, the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 24.20.11.01 driver offers optimal performance in the latest upcoming triple-A PC games. As said, these are God of War: Ragnarok and Frostpunk 2. Moreover, it expands support for Final Fantasy 16. Plus, it adds support for the DX11 Update for The Sims 4.
This new driver also comes with a number of bug fixes. For instance, it fixes an intermittent driver timeout or application crash while playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. It also fixes an intermittent driver timeout or application crash during certain cutscenes while playing FINAL FANTASY XVI.
And that’s not all. This driver fixes the overly dark shadows or desaturated colors that could be observed while playing Black Myth: Wukong. Moreover, it resolves an intermittent in-game corruption while playing Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Record & Streaming and HDR enabled.
Before closing, I should note that this driver does not fix some performance issues that can be observed in DayZ. For this, you should wait for a new driver.
Like always, you can download this new driver from AMD’s official website. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
