AMD has just released a performance driver for their graphics cards as iD Software’s latest FPS game, RAGE, is out now to some countries. According to the release notes, this driver improves significantly the game’s performance on single GPU configurations. Moreover, the company stated that Xfire support for RAGE will come in the next few days.
This driver is also compatible with AMD Radeon 6000 and AMD Radeon 5000 series of graphics products.

CatalystCreator Andrew D has just informed us that the current RAGE drivers are borked as the package includes very old OGL files and that’s why AMD users are seeing corruption, etc. An updated driver will be released later today!
