Bad news for all Amnesia fans, as the game will not hit its initial Halloween release date. According to thechineseroom’s Dan Pinchbeck, the game has been pushed back to 2013 because the company needs more time to polish it. Pinchbeck believes that the game’s quality will benefit from a few more months’ work, therefore they decided to delay it. Well, at least Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a PC exclusive title, meaning that thechineseroom won’t pull a ‘Ubisoft’ delay to us.
As Pinchbeck said in a huge interview with GameZone:
“The game’s just slid back to early 2013. The quality of the game is the absolute first, last, and always with this development, and we felt it could do with a few more months’ work to make sure that’s really going to happen.”
Horror fans should take a look at Slender, a freeware horror game that looks really creepy. Or they can get from Desura the Amnesia-like ‘Anna’ adventure that got recently released.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
