During its latest investor call, Electronic Arts revealed that Apex Legends had reached over 2.5 million unique players. Respawn’s battle royale title was able to reach 1 million players in just 8 hours so I think it is safe to say that this was a successful launch.
During EA’s investor call today, they confirmed that Apex Legends had over 2.5 million unique users and over 600,000 peak concurrent users just one day after release.

Apex Legends came out of nowhere and while there are some minor optimization issues, it’s one of the most stable release we’ve seen for a multiplayer title. We did not experience any connection issues and – with the exception of an NVIDIA DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error that occurs in the latest drivers – it works without issues.
According to Electronic Arts, the game has reached a peak of over 600K concurrent players, meaning that gamers can immediately find a server and play the game.
It will be interesting to see whether this success will continue later this month, whether Apex Legends will be able to top 5 million players by the end of February, and whether the number of concurrent players will be further increased!
