Namco Bandai announced that its arcade-style droid shooter, Hexodius, is heading to PC this June 21st via Steam, and will launch on Xbox Live in autumn 2013. Developed by Brain Slap Studios , Hexodius promises to throw players into the heat of the blaster battle as they conquer multiple game modes and explore six varied worlds, each with a multitude of challenging arenas.

The goal of the game is to reach the exit of the Hexodius complex unscathed. The game will feature 25 enemy droids, each with its own special dangers. The player’s own drone will come with over 40 customization items and upgrades to use and cleverly combine for battle advantages.

Hexodius will feature various difficulty settings, a story mode packed with mighty bosses, and online leaderboards.
