Ubisoft has released a new patch for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This patch will update your game’s version to 1.03 and it appears that it has a fix for the processors that lack AVX support. In other words, those with Intel’s first generation CPUs (and other CPUs) will be able to launch and play the game.
According to the in-game notes, patch 1.03 addresses various “game breaking” issues that could happen in specific conditions, improves performance and stability, and implements some “quality-of-life” and usability improvement features.
Ubisoft has not revealed the full release notes for this latest patch, however we’ll be sure to update this story once we get our hands on it.
