Although the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has been pushed back to December, PC gamers that are willing to experience the final chapter of Ezio Auditore’s adventures can pre-order the game now from Steam. Additionally, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be using Ubisoft’s Online Service DRM, although it seems that there will be an offline mode this time around.
According to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Steam page, the game will require a temporary broadband connection for one-time product registration at first launch and permanent broadband connection will be required for multi-player. Notice that there is no word for the single-player mode? So, lets hope that there will be an offline mode.
In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Ezio Auditore walks in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altaïr, on a journey of discovery and revelation. It is a perilous path – one that will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations PC is slated for a December 2nd release.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
