Ubisoft is currently giving away for free Assassin’s Creed Unity on UPLAY. For one week, PC gamers will be able to get this Assassin’s Creed game, set in Paris, for free and once acquired they will be able to keep it theirs forever.
As Ubisoft stated:
“In light of Monday’s events, we will be donating €500,000 to help with the restoration and reconstruction of the Cathedral. We encourage all of you who are interested to donate as well. In addition, we want to give everyone the chance to experience the majesty and beauty of Notre-Dame the best way we know how. For one week, we will be giving Assassin’s Creed Unity away free on PC, for anyone who wants to enjoy it.”
Despite its bugs, Assassin’s Creed Unity remains one of the most technologically ambitious AC games to date. Unity pushed an impressive number of simultaneous NPCs on screen and featured some of the best Global Illumination effects we’ve seen to date.
While the game came out in 2014, it still remains a great looking game. However, its movement and gameplay mechanics show the game’s age, something that most AC fans will immediately notice.
Still, this is a free game so we strongly suggest downloading it while you still can.
Have fun!
