505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni have announced that Assetto Corsa EVO will release on Steam Early Access on January 16th. To celebrate this announcement, the teams have also shared a new in-game trailer that you can find below.
Assetto Corsa EVO is the latest evolution in the acclaimed Assetto Corsa series. As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning years of motoring history.
KUNOS also claims that the game will have an advanced system that simulates mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance. This new system will aim to raise the bar of realism even higher than Assetto Corsa.
Moreover, Assetto Corsa EVO aims to introduce a wealth of features and gameplay modes. So, the game will have a full 24-hour race cycle, dynamic weather and track conditions. The devs also state that it will have cutting-edge lighting and photorealistic visuals.
Marco Massarutto, KUNOS Simulazioni co-founder and Executive Manager, said:
“We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting news on Assetto Corsa EVO launch, and trust us —we’ve been working hard to make sure everything meets our high standards. Here at KUNOS, we believe in taking the time to get things just right, and that’s why the Early Access for Assetto Corsa EVO will officially begin on January 16, 2025. Our goal is to ensure the quality that all sim racing enthusiasts rightfully expect from a title like Assetto Corsa EVO. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the continuous and extraordinary support received from our community. We look forward to sharing more exciting news on the project soon!”
It’s also worth noting that KUNOS has shared the official PC requirements for Assetto Corsa EVO. The minimum PC requirements list an Intel i7 8700k or AMD 1500X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 580. The game will also require 100GB of free disk space, and an SSD.
The devs recommend an Intel i5 10500 or AMD 2600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2070 or an AMD Radeon RX 5600.
Sadly, though, the devs did not share the graphics settings, resolution and framerate these PC specs target. We also don’t know whether or not there will be support for Ray Tracing or the PC upscalers (like DLSS, FSR and XeSS).
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
