EA and DICE have just confirmed that Battlefield 3 Premium will be coming to PC (and X360) next week. The service is available right now for PS3, meaning that PS3 users can go ahead an enjoy Closed Quarters right now. As said and before, Battlefield 3 Premium will offer two weeks head start in every future DLC and comes with various goodies. The service will cost you $49.99 USD. Battlefield Premium will feature two weeks early access to all future expansion packs (this also applies to the upcoming Closed Quarters DLC), unique in-game knife and dog-tags, 10+ unique soldier camos, unique weapon camos, stats reset functionality, 10+ unique Platoon emblem decals, increased Platoon emblem layers, server queue priority, 5+ unique Assignments, exclusive events, videos and Double XP weekends, as well as strategy guides and additional bonus content.
After Closed Quarters, Battlefield 3 fans can expect to get their hands on Armored Kill, Aftershock and End Game. Those who purchase Battlefield’s Premium Service will also gain access to the first BF3 DLC, Back to Karkand.
