Electronic Arts and DICE have officially unveiled Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 will be powered by Frostbite 3, and promises to provide a visceral, dramatic experience unlike any other shooter. The game is planned for a Fall 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3 (no mention about a possible next-generation release). Battlefield 4 will feature an intense, dramatic character-driven campaign that starts with the evacuation of American VIPs from Shanghai and follows your squad’s struggle to find its way home. In addition, the companies have unleashed a 17 minutes video with gameplay footage that can be viewed below. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
