I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it: I love modders. TechPowerUp’s user ‘Mindweaver‘ released a handy utility that lets you edit and config Battlefield 3’s graphical settings without entering the game. Now this is a crucial little program and one I was looking forward to. Why should I enter the game in order to change my settings? Especially when I want to play some multiplayer matches and want to tweak some options. God bless Mindweaver.
His utility is now at the 1.4 version and sports some new features, such as a Vertical Look (Invert Mouse) setting, mouse sensitivity settings and a new advanced Tab layout.
This is a must-have utility as you can change pretty much everything. Here are some screenshots from its latest version. Those interested can download it from here.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
